The Bushcraft Knife
Choose options
Forged on the rugged Cornish coast, where artistry and resilience are etched into the landscape, this knife is more than a tool, it's a story. Each blade begins its life as a high-carbon suspension spring coil, a material chosen for its incredible toughness and history of endurance. In the heat of the forge, it is transformed by fire and hammer, shaped by hand into a blade that is truly one of a kind.
The soul of the knife lies in its differential heat treatment. This ancient technique creates a blade with two distinct personalities: an unyielding, shock-absorbing spine and a razor-sharp edge hardened to a precise 61 HRC. This duality ensures both superior edge retention and the durability to handle demanding tasks without fail. A visible temper line often whispers the story of this process along the steel.
The blade’s geometry is a masterclass in performance. A primary flat grind transitions seamlessly into a robust 21∘ secondary edge, creating a profile that slices with minimal resistance while being easy to maintain. The blade is finished with a deep, 800-grit satin sheen that is both beautiful and practical.
The handle is crafted to be an extension of your hand. Rich, dark walnut provides a warm and secure grip, complemented by the subtle texture of leather and durable plastic spacers. Secured by a hidden tang bolted firmly at the pommel, the handle is as robust as the blade it holds. Finished with layers of tung oil and sealed with beeswax, it’s built to age gracefully with you.
This is not just a knife; it's a piece of Cornish craftsmanship, a reliable companion for your kitchen or your adventures, forged to be used and treasured for a lifetime.
